THE DAY and the aftermath!

JUDGING DAY

ALL ready for judging - shiny, clean, handsome, beautiful!
. . . .  and by judging day, we are talking about 7 hours of being ON!  Our kids were awesome - they came out of the first 4 hours happy, smiling and excited for food! By the end of the next 3 hours they were ready to let off some steam!
And leading the pack, first out of the gate, wearing a black toque and gloves - Daphne!

LET'S go see what this is all about!

Food trucks which means poutine, chicken tacos, mac and cheese, pizza, dim sum, chicken schnitzel and fries - NOT A VEGGIE IN SIGHT!
What a great way to feed kids!
First course - a burger and dim sum!

They lined the sides of the fields with every blow up game that exists I am pretty sure.

Dylan just warming up = pretty good

Getting higher  - there might have been a head plant that
happened  - no photos of THAT though
!

Johanna's turn - she did great and still, that smile!
That is Marisa on the left, determined to beat Kennedy on the right.

This one is Marisa  getting out all her frustrations with Kennedy on the right!

Marisa determined to beat Kennedy . ..  .ummmmm
Marisa in the maze with Johanna

a!
Johanna equally determined.

SADLY, it was about 10 degrees outside tonight with a strong wind - we left and were back in the dorms by around 8.  Today was a  very good experience for everyone -  they handled it like champs!

Today's fun fact about Montreal - John Lennon recorded 'Give Peace a Chance' in 1969.
